My name is Thad Barker and I was born and raised in Madison County, Ohio. I have spent a majority of my adult life in and around the real estate and auction industries in central Ohio. The central Ohio market is a very diverse and dynamic market and I am very grateful that I have the opportunity to work with buyers and sellers from this great area.

I am a licensed real estate agent and Auctioneer. I am also the co-founder of The Barker Team Realtors. I started my real estate career in 2007 and each year I strive to help buyers and sellers achieve the American dream! In 2010, I received my auctioneer’s license and founded Thad Barker Auctioneer & Associates. We specialize in real estate, farm, and estate auctions. I truly love the auction industry and the auction method of selling real estate and personal property! There is nothing quite like the excitement of a live auction, it is such a great experience! I love being a part of the auction industry and I strive to share that same feeling of excitement with buyers and sellers at all of our auctions.

I am married to my beautiful wife, Dara, and am a father of 4 wonderful children! We enjoy spending time together, backyard football and baseball, family vacations, fishing, and swimming to name a few things. We are also very involved in 4H and the county fair. The kids work hard on their projects and it’s always a joy to be able to be involved in their lives.

I am also very thankful for all of the people who have helped me obtain my goals over the years. I truly do hope that I can have that same influence in other peoples’ lives as well.
